Education system or systematic education…

As it is rightly said “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy” but today when we roam in the streets where we cherished our beautiful child hood, we end up finding the streets either vacant or silent, I still remember when we were children there always use to be aunts to scold us, uncles to take away the ball and of course those old fights for out or not out in ‘galli’ cricket. We still have everything green in our memory how we tackled those aunts, those uncles and certainly those fights, not for the sake of the ball, out or not out but, for the sake of joy, for the sake of enjoying , for the sake of coming together tomorrow and playing together, almost everyone among us  had their society and lanes as their world and friends as their relatives and education which was not a burden, neither on us nor on our parents, though our parents shouted at us for studying but also accepted our pranks silently because education ‘was a part of life’, but nowadays when we see the children in the phase where we use to fit once we find them working hard and studying all day long. It is just a one day observation which will prove that not like then ‘life is turning to be the part of education’.

Today when we see the children all they do is go to tuition,  go to school, come home and without even changing their uniforms they rush to the tuition again, we want our children to lead, to gain good level of education and grab a good career oriented job, definitely it is not completely wrong even our parents were concerned for the same, but the point is at what cost?

Did we ever try to see that this need of making their future bright is also ruining their present?  Today world is growing fast and technology is reaching the seventh sky. After globalization even India is developing fast, competition is fast, no doubt if you don’t walk with the phase of time you are going to get thrown out, but hold on for a second and give it a thought is it really worth it, the question is getting a six digit or seven digit salary can ever buy a person’s childhood back? Imagine if everything would have been just studying all daylong then why was there a need of games in the ancient ages(games like kabaddi, kho kho), coming to our school system what is the requirement of recess or a break, the core reason for the same is the recharging of mindset, refreshing the essence of life and keeping the body enthusiastically active, but don’t you think this continuous studies throughout the day is a core reason of child anxiety and frustration. Coming to the practical data statistics 7 out of 10 children (approximately) face stress due to the heavy burden of education which results in poor outcome and our pressure is the core reason to it.

It is not only the parents responsible for this poor outcome, but also the education system for preparing a syllabus which is beyond the children reach, you need to train the child with the advanced technology but imagine if you are working as a clerk and given the job of a CEO would it be easy enough to do, similarly when a child of 3rd std face projects we use to do in our 7th std how helpless may the child be feeling. Getting into your children shoes is the only way to understand them, children do not grow intelligent just by holding books for the whole day it is their voluntary interest in the ambitions they design for themselves.

The educational system is not only responsible to upgrade the literacy rate but also to study the mind of the children and make the education pattern comfortable to their level, improving the standards of education do not pertain to rising the level of stress in the child, the positive attitude towards education in the children do not come by increasing the number of educational subjects and hours it comes by creating loving and fun environment for the children. It is the system which is responsible for the better future of the children who are the future of the nation.

We parents must understand our children mentality and act accordingly, we should not snatch away their childhood and brickbat them with their poor quality in education because it is not just the system or the child even a parent is equally responsible for the better growth of the child, Last but not the least we should always remember that great scientist Sir Albert Einstein was dyslexic, Late.Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani was not fairly educated even our favorite ‘lord of cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar failed his matriculation but this people are not best because they had only education as an option they selected their ambition and dreams as their career. It is rightly said by Sir Albert Einstein “Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing its stupid”. I will end it up with saying education system comes from systematic education, systematic education does not necessarily come from protocol of education system. So friends, lets gift our future big shots their childhood back
